Hey, My Friends...xx 

I just want to take a few moments to say that when I have been overwhelmed by the breadth of support received from you all, in recent weeks...When I, almost casually, told you that I was going to be away for a couple of days, because of surgery, I didn't think twice about it...ppl go into hospital all the time, don''t they?

...But,from that moment on, I have been inundated with good wishes, comments, online gifts and messages from so many of you that were, 'just taking time-out to say Hi'...so, quite frankly, I was shocked! (but in a nice way, LOL) and this out-pouring, has been a revelation to me!

I have met so many wonderful ppl here in my short time at USACN...I never cease to be amazed by the fact that I can talk to 'Gunpowder' in the US, whilst at the same time be talking to 'Wild' in the UK, 'Marianne' in Europe, 'Jewel' in Canada, or 'Pearl' the Middle East! - It has to be 'The Ultimate Time Travel Experience', surely?...and I have been inspired, motivated, humbled, invigorated, cheered and touched by everyone that I have been privileged enough to 'meet' in my very short time here!

The World, so often, seems to be a very dismal place...Life can be very rough, (let's be honest about that !) and I, like many of you, have not had an easy year in 2008...(and anyone that has been touched by bereavement will understand the complexities death brings upon its back, yeah? )...but my spirits have been lifted being here and by my learning from how others deal or have dealt with adversity in their own lives...

Being allowed to share in your successes, failures, problems, relationships, aspirations and inspirations have been a great wonder, comfort and fillip to me!

So, at this beautiful and (in my opinion) most wonderful time of the year, I just want to say...

My life is SO much better for having had the opportunity to get to know you all!!  Merry Christmas, Bighugs...and don't EVER be a stranger, OK?
