ABOUT ME
I am twenty-two years old, and I've started my Journey to live a more abundant life. I was released from prison on June 1, 2009. I served three years and two months in the Florida Department of Corrections. I am a Living testimony that anyone can change the way they live and perceive life! There truly is a purpose to Life; it is more than simply existing.
I hope to start college in the near future, I have a desire to help people and I have a knack for it. I want to become a counselor of some sorts, not quite a psychologist, but I'll leave that avenue open. When I was incarcerated, my peers (and sometimes the Officers) would always ask to speak with me and ask me my opinion, for advice, or just simply ask me to help them with a problem. It seems that everytime someone came to me seeking help, after we spoke, they left feeling encouraged, with better understanding as to how to deal with there problem. Maybe this is where I'm meant to be? The gift of Exhortation?
