Shocking how this forum hasn't gotten any action on a chat site... LOL

Where to start...

One topic I have noticed that seems to be a re-occurring theme with women I know...alcohol SEEMS to be one hell of a truth serum...But is it really?? (hard to say)...what do you guys think about this?

I'm talking about women you have known for awhile (on the surface... maybe for a month or a few months) casually talking and haven't really gotten to know them on that second level.  You go out for a few drinks...and they start telling you about how much they like you, this and that, yada yada yada...how they mentioned you in conversations to their friends, etc etc.  They may even start to become physical and put a move on you.

The real debate is this... 

1) Are they putting away their inhibitions...and the truth they have been covering up for some time comes flying out about how they really feel?

2) Or is it simply the alcohol talking and the next day she'll forget all about the conversation...as well as the fact that she made a move on you and a steamy makeout session ensued afterward :) ?

For me that's a tough question that I could never figure out because i've been in both situations and it's one hell of a dilemma! 

I've been in a situation where it was a legitimate truth serum, where the emotions/feelings were legit and the girl had a crush on me...and yet I've also been in that spot where it's like... "What are you talking about... you mean we did what???" 

In my personal opnion and experience... I think it's really a mix of both....seems to be 50/50.  I think it's part truth serum... and part alcohol "I am screwed up beyond belief and would screw anyone in this bar" kind of mentality.
