In a world of excess and regress, chaos and peace, sorrow and elation, success and recession, I have stuck to one simple path. I have always followed the empty Cup. This lesson was given to me and I share it with others as often as I can. When you keep your cup empty, life can always fill it with more experiences, as there is room to grow. When life's experiences have weighed you down, and your cup is filled to the brim, empty it. Give it away to whatever you call God and you will feel lighter and free. Never be afraid to share every last drop in your cup with someone who is thirsty, as it will always be refilled. The source of life seeks out empty and awaiting vessels to pour in its energy and knowledge. Keep you cup empty and the source of life will seek it out and always keep you well. No excess, just right..no chaos, just enough...no sorrow, for you have opened yourself to trust...no success ( in a manner of speaking) because you do not measure its worth in any known metric. It just is...and so are you. Empty your cup...who knows what amazing things are waiting to happen. =) Sean

Any Zombie Movie by George Romero, Rocky movies, Lord of the Rings, Sci-Fi and Horror, Love TV shows where they are investigating the paranormal, Movies and shows that make you think, and others that allow you to turn your brain off for a while. I am a HUGE netflix fan ( I weigh 1000 pounds, so I am the biggest fan they have, just kidding). Favorites are:

MUSIC
I am an old school metalhead, so that means I grew up with the s#!t and it is an intrinsic and not be underestimated presence in my life. Hell..it is the soundtrack to my youth, early manhood, and pulse pounding adult man scape...Salute It! So..anything from the 80's to present that has some grind and attitude is OK with me...I also love classical, rock, a little jazzy stuff and some mellow music too. Favorite bands are Motley Crue, Sixx AM, Metallica, Seether, Danzig, Testament,Brides of Destruction, Misfits,Godsmack,Type O Negative, Disturbed, The Who, Steppenwolf, Doors, Orgy, Manson, NIN, Pantera, WolfMother, Any Irish Music, and your mom's garage band (LOL)
BOOKS
Tao Te Ching, the Giving Tree and the Way of the Peaceful Warrior are my favorites. Anything by Dr Wayne Dyer is a treat...Dragonlance and Ravenloft novels are a favorite of mine as well
Humility, sense of humor and not taking one's self too seriously. Sometimes life is difficult because there is too much of you in it...
TURN OFF'S
Arrogance and a 'me-first' attitude. Try holding open a door for someone, meeting someone in the eye, showing respect for all. Don't follow titles, follow passion and peace. You cannot be all things to all people, be yourself and all people will be what they should be mirrored in you.
ABOUT ME
First off I am a proud father and a loving husband. I am simple, sometimes quiet, but never silent when it comes to things I am passionate about. I stand up for what I believe to be right, but practice humility when I have achieved my goals. We can quickly turn to the bully we fought once the victory over him has been achieved. I like to write, and have authored 'The Cup', a lesson in the art of giving away without any restrictions and living life on a path of peace and kindness. I like this quote: 'Be like the wind, it embraces everything, clings to nothing, uproots and nourishes, and when it is gone, invisible to all. Noting left except for all that it did. Nothing to thank, nothing to know, just everything that was needed'.
