As time has gone on, I have been through it all and have experienced every emotion. I have made friendships and been in relationships. Some were horrible, some were good or ok, while a select few have been great (which I have right now). You just have to surround yourself with people who will make you feel good. I know it may be hard at first or at times, but if you stay with it, everything will work out. You just have to choose what path you want to go down. You have to be cautious about who you meet, the relationships you form and what you tell them. Some may seem like they are your friends but they end up turning on you and hurting you just to get what they want. There are people in here that won't stop until they get just that. They don't care about your feelings as long as they are happy. In addition, people will say things that they think are funny, which they may be to them and others, but they are hurtful to others. The words of others can cause you pain, which in turn, can cause pain to others. You will get upset and begin to neglect those who actually care about you, which is not fair. Still with me? Ok..lol. This goes back to being cautious in chat. Even though I've been here for 2 years, there are people that I've become close to, yet I have not let my guard down for. People will or at least try to destroy your relationships, whether they are friendships or BF/GF relationships. They don't care. They will go to extreme measure to get what they want because they figure they don't know you and you don't know them...who cares? The point in all of this is that people do cause harm to others with or without realizing it. They think it is all in fun and mean nothing by it. Yet, you should be cautious not to offend anyone. Stop and think before you speak, out of respect to the other chatters. If you know that if a fellow chatter is with someone, don't be persistent and asking to be with them or continue flirting with them. Yes, this may be a gray area, meaning that one person may see it as being friendly and having a good time. Yet another person will see this as you trying to take someone or something away from them that they truly care about and will get offended. JUST BE CAUTIOUS!!!
