Happiness Isn't To Far Away


The stars inspire well, resembling your eyes.
They shine with an everlasting gleam.
The night comes to a calm and peaceful ending,
And I close my eyes awaiting the misunderstood dream.
Tonight I shall not wallow in sorrow-
Ill pretend its not as horrid as it seems.

Sunlight wakes me up, glitter appears on the waters.
Theres no day as wonderful as one more than black and white.
A bleeding heart is filled with renewed wonder-
Instead of blindness, from the sun I will only see light.
Today I shall not wallow in sorrow-
But see a new beginning, rather than a new fight.

Live to love, with no regrets to disdain-
Its as easy as walking on glass through this stage.
But stuck behind- Ive become too late for life.
I must not stay behind eliminating page after page.
Today I shall not wallow in sorrow-
I will look to the sky as a wonder, not as a cage.

For life gets better with optimistic wishes.
Its easier to love if you forget your hate.
Instead of seeing nighttime as a blackened closing-
Look to the stars for advice about your confused state.
Today I tell you not to wallow in sorrow-
Live for the moments too beautiful to contemplate.

See mistakes as a chance to improve,
Start your live over with a clean slate-
Dont let darkness choose your fate.
