There has been alot of speculation in the rock and heavy metal world I have seen as of lately as to the meaning of the Heartagram, so I am going to give you a little history of it’s oragins and it’s true meaning. The heartagram is heart combined with a penticle or pentagram. then encircled just as a pentagram would be. The creator of the heartagram is Ville Valo of the band HIM and he crated it in 1996 for their first album titled Love/ Metal. The meaning of a heartagram has nothing to do with any faith or religion such as my own, wiccan religion, or any other. It simply means love/hate or good/evil, love and light/ darkness, evil. Sortta like the yin/yang means to other people. which is usually good vs. bad. Ville Valo created this heartagram symbol to mean the same thing and be a symbol for his band so when people saw that symbol , they new it was his band HIM. It has since shown up everywhere from posters to tattoos and even on a popular show on mtv called Viva La bam featuring Bam margera, who also happens to be a very big HIM fan. So the next time you see the heartagram symbol don’t think it is associated with anything other than what it is, just a symbol for love/hate. It describes the bands music perfectly, ballads and love songs and heavy metal!! rock on my friends!!!!

Chat rooms are indeed one of the best ways of getting in touch with friends. You can also make new friends online using this facility. If you are new to online chat rooms, it is best to learn about different types of chat services available online so that you can get the best of these services. Initially when chat services were introduced only big names like Yahoo, MSN, ICQ, AOL, etc., were offering this service. Though these chat services were free they required you to install special software downloaded from their respective websites. You will be able to make use of these services only from computers in which already the chat software is installed. Not all computers had all the chat software programs installed. You will not be able to get in touch with your friends from any computer you like. This is a great limitation especially when you are travelling. If want to get in touch with people quickly from your friend’s computer it may not be possible unless your friend’s computer had the required software installed.

Then came the next generation chat services that do not require you to install any chat software in your computers. These are web-based chat services like USA Chat Now. You just need the internet connection to communicate with your friends here. You will be able to login to your account from any part of the world. This type of chat services gives you a great freedom as you do not have to worry about any chat software or worry about your system memory space etc. You will find web based chatting services in many social networking websites. This gives you the opportunity to interact with the other members of the social network. You will be able to read their profile online before getting in touch with them.

In case you do not want to signup for an account in these web based chatting services, you will be able to chat as a guest. This feature is highly helpful especially when you want to try a chat room before you signup for your free account. You will also be able to test the features of your preferred chat room before you become a member. However it is best to signup for your own account in these chatting websites if you intend to use it regularly so that your friends will be able to recognize you by your chat name.

These days chat services that are linked to social networking sites are becoming increasingly popular because this platform helps people build networks of their own and it offers them multiple options for communicating with each other. You will be able to share your photos and videos here providing you a perfect hangout place. If you have not signed up already, signup right away and explore the world of fun and friendship free of cost.

Hello bloggers, I know it has been a few days since my last blog but wow have I been sick. I was down for the count for a whole week and the first two days I was in my own bed with a fever aches pains nausea and the works. After a few days of misery I finally went to the doc who sent me to the hospital, lucky me. I have asthma so it was compounded by the illness of which I still didnt know what I had. So I go to the hospital by ambulance from the doc and arrive to secluded room, what the hell? A swarm of doctors and nurses come in and start taking blood running an i.v. running an ekg sent me up for a catscan chest xrays and so on. I by this point am damn mad but to sick to complain. I was there fro 3 whole days before most of the test were back. This whole time im at the hospital I had treatment after treament of steroids, breathing treatments, pain meds thru the i.v. antibiotis and saline drips. I thought i was damn near dead, lol. So anyhow I was told it was not h1n1 but a common ordinary virus that made my asthma take its toll on my body. If it had been the damn swine flu I would be dead!! So I guess the point of this blog is if you have asthma, copd emphazima or any other chronic lung disease and you get even just a sniffle, I strongly suggest you see a doctor right away, dont be stubborn like I was. I am getting better and stronger every day but I just got out of the hospital today so it will take some time. i am glad I was drugged up though because I was in quite a bit of pain and was told I was an ass until the i.v. kicked in, imagine that, me? an ass? Lol. in conclusion hope all you bloggers stay well fit and happy!! Take care ,we only have this one body and it is up to us to take care of it!!!

Ok bloggers this blog is a little bit controversial than any that i have done yet. I am not a smoker and I have never been a smoker but that does not make me any less angry about the bans that are popping up all over the counrty on smoking. I dont think it is very fair fo our local stae and federal government to ban anyone from smoking in public areas. Most any place of buisness I have ever been to had designated smoking areas. Sure it is my choice not to smoke but it is also my choice not to go into the smoking areas. It doesnt just hurt the people who enjoy smoking but it hurts the buisnesses that are patroned by smokers. Our rights and freedoms are getting fewer and farer in between, how fair is that fellow tax payers? I understand some reasons are for health I myself have asthma, but I still dont think it should be up to anyone else but the patrons to visit a place that allows smoking. There is a hotspot here in Indiana that is also a concert venue and it was once a place that was standing room only, now not many good shows appear there and there is never a line for anything, i know this is happening everywhere and as a nonsmoking american, I am very sorry that all those buisnesses are failing because our government is bullying you!!! If this is happening where you live i suggest you conact your local state and fed government to voice your oppinion, it counts for something. After all you are tax payers too!!!!! I am sorry if I have offended anyone but i think that everyone should have a say in how even the smallest of things matter to us and our government. Lift the smoking bans and let our country worry about more important matters. The non smokers can handle thier choice of where they wish to visit and patronize as we have for so many years!!!!!!!

I suppose it is that time of year for alot of people myself included, who get tired of being indoors. I am gettnig cabin fever so bad that i think im getting depressed. lol. Anyhow, i finally decided to go out and take down the holiday things we had up this year and notice a few bluejays and cardinals flying around. i also noticed the grass was turning green and i thought wow, finally. But then again it is only january so i know better than to get my hopes up like that. So anyhow, as I was finishing up with taking down the lights and putting them away, two squirrels scampered about with a few of my tulip bulbs in their mouth. That explains why they keep growing in places i know i didnt plant. here in the midwest it is warming up to a low fifties this weekend and that is somewhat odd for this time of year but I will take it! i even see buds on the trees so i know i’m not the only one who is confused about this crazy winter. I am just happy to get it over with. I am so anxious to get back out and do my gardening and at the end of the day sit on my swing and bird watch. I often take a book outside with me with the intent to read it but rarely does it get done, i have too many neighbors to watch come and go, lol. So in conclusion of this blog I am glad to know the end of cabin fever is coming to an end for yet another year. Woot woot!!!

Well it’s another day and one would think that as far as chatroom talk goes it’s always the same thing, but not true. I mean i’m talking about usachatnow people. You never know what you’re going to encounter in here. I imagine like most places you have regs and they contribute to one conversation or another on a daily basis, however in usachatnow we are much more than regs to eachother, we are friends. That might not mean much to some people but to those of us who don’t get out much, it’s everything. i have been here for sometime now and i know who to trust and who to overlook but i try to never overlook anyone unless there is good cause. I think most of us who come here everyday treat eachother and new people as well , with a great deal of respect and would never have it any other way, but thats the great thing i like about being a chatroom member in a respectable room!! But i would like to express that without the great mods and admins that we have it would never go as smoothly as it does. We are not over moderated and the ones we have blend in and are as much apart of conversations as any other chatter. Isn’t that awesome? i certainly think so. I would like to add one more thing before i go, when you are in a chatroom for the first time feel free to talk in the mainroom but be polite and respectful and please do not approach people for personal reasons or unmentionable things, thats not what most of Hope to continue seeing more and more new friends and have fun, thats what it’s all about!!

THIS IS A BIT ON THE IMPORTANT SIDE TO ME SO I THOUGHT I WOULD WRITE ABOUT HOW TO HELP WITH THE HAITIAN EARTHEQUAKE. I DID A BIT OF RESEARCH FOR ACCURATE PHONE NUMBERS AND WEBSITES TO BE SURE IT ALL CORRECT. SO FAR THERE ARE NO ACURATE DEATH TOLL OR MISSING NUMBERS BECAUSE THERE IS NOT A CURRENT CENSUS IN HAITI. IT IS ONE OF THE POOREST COUNTRIES IN THE WESTERN HEMISPHERE AND IT HAS LIMITED HOUSING AND MEDICAL RELIEF SO THERE IS NO WAY TO BE SURE OF ANY NUMBERS OF DEATH OR MISSING PEOPLE. WITH MANY MANY AGENCIES GOING TO HELP I RESEARCHED THE MOST KNOWN AND TRUSTED I FEEL COMFORTABLE GIVING TO. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU AS WELL. THE FIRST IS REDCROSS.ORG PH. # IS 1-800-HELP-NOW. THE NEXT IS MY.CARE.ORG PH.# IS 1-800-422-7385. AND THE LAST IS WORLDVISION.ORG PH.# IS 1-888-56-CHILD. I HOPE THIS HELPS OR MAKES YOU WANT TO PAY ATTENTION IN WHATS HAPPENING IN OUR WORLD.

Well everyone that time has arrived again and it seems as though we just went through it a minute ago. 2009 has gone and passed the baton onto 2010 a new decade.

As a kid my family would watch Dick Clark and then at midnight bang pots and pans together, hug each other, and go to bed. The adults would celebrate into the night and us kids would get together the next morning and count how many shades of green Uncle George looked like. The day would be slow and quiet. College football on the television that no one would watch! That’s what I remember.

Many New Years Eve’s have come and gone for me and still I truly find it to be so much fun. Mind you, I have as I got older partook in the festivities and myself I am sure displayed a few shades of green just like Uncle George…especially after last night…Blackberry Brandy and Alabama Slammers were my drink of choice all night LOL. I had a blast!! Today as I remember from New Years past is slow and quiet once again…THANK GOD! lol

It’s New Years yes, and I celebrate with all of you. I will take into consideration the spirit of the holiday and remember the good times and bad times of this past year. I will look at my family and friends and see the time that has been granted to us. I will raise a glass and toast to us all. Ask that the new year be clear. That prosperity grace our homes. Good health be our very best friend indeed. And that peace be with us all.

So to you and yours have a safe and happy New Year.

THWACK! The bullet struck a rock just to the left of Pvt. Shepherd’s head. That was a close one he thought, wondering if the next would be right between his eyes. “One hell of a way to spend Christmas” he grumbled to himself while shivering from mingled fear and the bitter Afghani cold. When he got word of his deployment he figured he’d be sweating his ass off, not freezing to death. Afghanistan was like in the same area as Iraq and Iran, right? And they were hotter than Hell’s furnace. But noooo, here he sat in a stinking ditch wondering which would get him first — the frostbite or a Taliban bullet. “Note to self dumbass” he muttered “never ever ever volunteer for anything again.” He’d been off-duty, waiting as usual for a chance to get on the internet and maybe send an e-mail, or luckier yet IM with his girl Dani or the folks back in Missouri. Dani — damn how would she deal with it if he got himself killed. Crimsom hair, blue eyes that flashed like lasers when she smiled, and the voice of an angel. Yeah, she was the one alright. PA-TWANG! Another bullet hit the lip of the ditch, shaking him out of his daydream. Rat bastards, he thought. Couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn with a basketball! Well, thats not exactly true. The RPG they fired sure tore hell out of his Humvee, killed the Sarge and Spec. Jones. If he hadn’t been up top with Ma Deuce, the .50 caliber machine gun, he’d be buzzard meat too. Luckily he got blown clear with just a couple dings from sharpnel to his leg. Damn! It was supposed to be an easy trip over to the supply dump. Oh well, he was the one stupid enough to volunteer to go along. ZING-BRRAAAP! Wow. Someone emptied half an AK-47 clip at him that time. Whats that sound? Laughter? What the hell? Now the Taliban sunsbitches were laughing at him. “American!” someone shouted from up top the ridge. “You, American! Come out so we can see youuuuu” one taunted. And again there was laughter. Huh? Sounded like a truck or something. Not an Army one though, he thought. Could he be that damn lucky? Were they leaving? Cautiously, after a good five minutes he poked his head up a little. KERWANG! Another shot rang out from above. But this one was far from close. “You! Infidel American” the voice shouted again ” today you wish you not come to my country, eh? Come out so I can see you. My comrades have gone.” Sure, Shepherd thought. Stick my head up so you can shoot at me again? In a pigs ass! “Army man. If I wanted to kill you it would already be so” the voice said again. “You are Christian, correct? I know of your religion. This is your holy day. Why do you come here to kill us?” What was this Taliclown talking about now, Shepherd wondered? “Christian! Hear me! Allah is great. But I think your man Jesus was a good prophet as well. Not as great as Mohammed, but good. I studied in America years ago. I have not the hatred in my heart for you my friends have.” Ok, now I get it. The Taliban version of psych warfare at work. “Oh yeah?” Shepherd shouted back ” and I suppose you’re the freakin’ Afghan Santa Claus right? Bite me, rag head!” Again, laughter. “Ho ho ho you are the funny one Army man. I tell you a story, yes? A few days ago a bunch of the Army men like yourself came to my village. My young daughter, she is not well you see. One of your soldiers gave her some candy, the first she has ever had. And made her a stick figure doll with rubberbands. Smiles are a rare resource in my land. So Christian I do this favor for you. Go now, return to your people. Spend a Christ Mass with your own family and be thankful I spare your life Army man. Do not think it will happen again.” In the distance a new sound fell upon Shepherds ears — rotors! A Blackhawk! About damn time the cavalry rode to the rescue! ” I must go now Army man. Your people are coming. What is it that you Americans say at this holy time? Merry Christ Mass?” Minutes later as the helicopter fluttered downward thru the smoke of the still-burning Humvee, a lone figure in blood-stained BDU’s was seen kneeling in the sand, praying and giving glory to God in the highest.

As the rest of us sit down to our Christmas dinners and unwrap gifts from under the tree, thousands of our bravest and best are in harms way, protecting America. I hope that this short story will remind you of the sacrifices they’ve made and continue to make. Please join me in prayer for their safety and that some Christmas soon will find them all at home with their loved ones.
