There’s a young Michigan boy in the fight of his life, and this indeed could be his last Christmas. 5-year old Noah Biorkman is in the final stages of a long battle with neuroblastoma cancer. One of Noah’s few wishes this year is to receive LOTS of Christmas cards from people everywhere. I have been in Florida for two weeks now and the experience has been bittersweet. Iwas down here on vacation last year and I seen the good part of Florida, now I’m living here and and I also seen the bad. It is no different than any other city, you have your rich neighborhoods and your poor ones. I know there are homeless people in every city but i never seen one sleeping in a doorway until recently. It saddens me to wonder how they got to where they are. Do they have family, does anyone care about them, is it by their choice that they are homeless or didn’t anyone give them a choice. It’s just like children, they did’nt have a choice to be born or not and it sickens me when people abuse them. Some women would love nothing more than to have a child alone or with their mate and they can’t, while other women have them like nothing and don’t care. Children are a gift not a burden. They are a part of you and your life if you had them or you adopted them it doesn’t matter you brought them here by your choice to love and cherish them not to abuse or ignore them. My heart goes out to those who don’t have a choice in what happens to them. I count my blessings everyday for the things I have. I never take anything for granted because it could be here today and gone tomorrow so I live life to the fullest each day and remember a good thing about it and write it down. Not many people have a good life or love; I have both and that is what I am thankful for.If everyone had love, the world would be a better place. I can’t get the images of the homeless people out of my mind. Some people look at them as a disgrace or a waste of life but always remember they are someones son or daughter, brother or sister, aunt or uncle and they belong to someone. They didn’t get here by themselves. If they want to live their life that way then its their choice, if they don’t have a choice say a prayer for them. But either way always remember everyone has a heart and feelings so be kind. I can’t imagine going through life all alone with no one to love you or care about you, never loving someone back and feeling all the joy and emotions inside you. Love just like life is precious enjoy it while you have it, remember something good out of each day. It is your life to do as you choose. Some people have no choices but to those that do…choose wisely, enjoy life and learn to love and it will make you a better person. After seeing the homeless people it made me realize just how lucky I am.
As the beginning of Star Trek so famously says to to boldly go where no one has gone before. Granted many others have blogged, and I’ve blogged many times on USA Network Now, but this is my first posting here on the USA Chat Now chat blog. So who is this guy nicknamed RickyRocker? I just watched this movie and I do have to say it was better then I thought it would be. I watched a move on sci-fi called 2012 Supernova and really hated it. So because of that my idea was it was going to suck. Anyways I must say it was great. From the beginning to the end it was action packed. You got to see entire cities crash and burn. The graphics alone in this move makes it a must see for everyone. The story line to this movie was similar to most movies with the doomsday scenario. One thing I liked about this story was it was honest about how our governments would treat us during a doomsday experience. I really don’t want to give alot away in this review about what happens in the story line. What I really want to say is don’t make this a rental. Go out and actually pay to see this move on the big screen. It will be a movie that will be well worth the price of a ticket.
